Servant Theories of Leadership
This type of leadership is one that people may enjoy. A servant leadership understands that they have authority over their group but don't let the power get to their head. They keep in mind that their group is doing work to the best of their ability and see no point in bossing others around. Servant leaders care for their group members and look at their best interests. A servant leadership will listen to any problems and issues a group member may have and will do everything to help him/ her out. To be this kind of leader, one must be committed to their work and must be motivated. One who is committed sees a need and positive outcome of the work they put in. When you are committed to something, you stick to it and ensure that the work you put in is done to the best of your ability. Motivation is also a key factor. When one is motivated in their work, they see a reason to their efforts and often see a positive outcome. Motivation in a way helps a person to realize that what they are doing will come i handy in the long run. Everything will be worth it in the end.
